Paul has acted for a wide variety of clients from states and state-owned entities, international telecommunications companies, to political risk and trade credit insurers in the London market. Paul has particular expertise in contractual disputes in the oil and gas sector, telecoms licensing disputes and political risk and trade credit coverage claims.

Paul has extensive international arbitration expertise and has arbitrated disputes under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Permanent Court of International Arbitration (PCA), UNCITRAL and the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Paul also has experience in litigating before the English courts.

Paul joined Clyde & Co LLP in 2011. Prior to this Paul was based in Paris with the International Arbitration and Public International Law team of another multinational law firm.
