Peter is a Solicitor Advocate with over 30 years' experience. He specialises in international arbitration and has represented clients in over 60 international jurisdictions around the world, from the Far East and Central Asia to the Middle East and North Africa, the USA and Latin America. He has arbitrated under the rules of all the major arbitral institutions. Peter also sits as an arbitrator and is an accredited CEDR mediator.

Peter is an active member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and an Ambassador for their Belt and Road Initiative. He is also an International Adviser of the China Academy of Arbitration Law and chairs Clyde & Co’s Belt and Road committee.

He has lectured extensively on arbitration law and practice in Fundação Getulio Vargas São Paulo (FGV), Queen Mary University of London, the Centre for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada, Comitè Brasileiro de Arbitragem and at the inaugural CIETAC Forum of International Arbitration in Beijing.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Indian Counsel of Arbitration, a member of the London Court of International Arbitration and The Indian Commerce Association (dispute resolution committee).
