Sarah acts in complex commercial litigation including class actions, contractual disputes, claims arising out of large corporate insolvency events and alleged market misconduct, and contentious coverage matters. She predominately acts for directors and officers, professionals and insurers in relation to large financial losses. Her disputes experience spans the Federal Court (including matters before the Full Court) the Supreme and District Courts of New South Wales, the Financial Ombudsman Service and professional tribunals.
In the insurance space, Sarah has acted in regulatory matters, including ASIC investigations, as well as in complex coverage cases, and advises clients on policy interpretation and the associated statutory framework. Sarah has acted in multiple litigated coverage disputes in the Supreme Court of NSW.
Sarah also has experience in subrogated fraud recoveries, reinsurance, property damage, life insurance, medical malpractice, product liability and employment matters.
