Simon has a broad range of employment law experience, advising in relation to contracts of employment; consultancy agreements; individual and collective redundancy procedures; disability; complex grievance, disciplinary, and performance management processes; and negotiated settlements for senior / Board level employees.

He is an experienced litigator in both the Employment Tribunal and High Court, in particular claims in relation to breach of contract, unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing.  He has successfully pursued or defended several appeals to the EAT.

Simon also has experience of regulatory matters, including enforcement action and proceedings before disciplinary tribunals; insolvency proceedings commenced by a former employee arising out of tribunal proceedings; shareholder and partnership disputes; costs recovery and interim applications for security for costs.  

He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
