Terry advises employers and trustees on a full range of pensions issues.  Her clients operate in a number of sectors, including the insurance, energy and transportation sectors.  She regularly advises on the complex protections for employees in the electricity, railways and water sectors.

She has acted for a number of lending institutions during her career.  Current clients include the trustees of a pension scheme sponsored by an Irish Bank.  The advice has covered the full range of issues relating to the institutions own pension arrangements, as well as advice about financing corporate transactions.

Terry is a past chair of the Pension and Lifetime Savings Association Yorkshire Group , a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and  a co-editor of Tolley’s Pensions Law.

Terry is recognised as a “good quality pensions lawyer” (the UK 2016 Chambers Guide) and for her “wealth of experience” (the UK 2016 Legal 500.)
