Tony's particular area of focus is within specialty insurance, where he advises in the political and trade credit risks, terrorism and political violence, fine art, surety, and specie fields.
Two of Tony's core practice areas in dispute resolution are commercial litigation and international arbitration. His commercial litigation work often involves multi-national disputes ranging across a number of jurisdictions. He has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitration, both ad hoc and institutional. These disputes are usually high value, complex and commercially sensitive.
Tony is a Recorder of the Crown Court. He is a member of the British government's Spoliation Advisory Panel, a group of expert advisers who consider claims for cultural objects lost during the Nazi era (1933-1945).
