Whiplash Reforms Q&A: Starting claims / Indemnity issues

As of 31 May 2021, the Official Injury Claims Portal (OICP) will be expected to handle all claims falling within its scope. However, it is apparent that there are questions remaining around the operation of the OICP despite the publication of both the Pre-Action Protocol and Supporting Guide.

We would like to invite you to a series of short webinars addressing questions on various elements of the operation of the OICP from an insurer’s perspective, specifically:

  • Starting claims/indemnity issues
  • Liability
  • Interim payments
  • Medical reporting
  • Dropping claims out of the Portal
