Abdelmajid AlSalous is Litigation Specialist in Clyde & Co’s dispute resolution group and is based in the Dubai office. He has extensive experience in handling onshore commercial litigation disputes at all stages of the proceedings, from pre-litigation steps to litigation before various courts and various stages of the proceedings and the enforcement stage.
Abdelmajid regularly advises clients with respect to complex, high value local and international disputes arising out of commercial agreements including debt recovery, real estate, lease, construction, commercial agency, franchising, oil & gas, shareholder, joint venture, hospitality and international trade and commodities disputes. He participates in setting up litigation strategies in onshore litigation matters taking into consideration the commercial needs of clients and the laws applicable to the position of the clients. He also contributes to the drafting of pleadings and submissions before the onshore courts and regularly attends expert meetings. His expertise includes assessing legal risks and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
With his expertise on UAE laws and proceedings and his strong command of Arabic drafting, Abdelmajid is a key member of the UAE onshore litigation practice of the firm, the local advocate practice.
