Valerie Calvano is a Senior Associate based in the Calgary office, specializing in insurance, commercial litigation, construction and professional liability.
Since being called to the bar in Ontario (2018) and Alberta (2025), Valerie has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, insurers and surety bonding companies in various disputes. She has regularly appeared before the Courts in Ontario and Alberta, and is experienced in construction adjudication and arbitration.
This broad experience provides her with a well-rounded perspective, allowing her to anticipate opposing strategies and navigate complex issues and disputes.
Valerie is also fluent in both French and English, allowing her to represent clients in both languages.
Outside of her professional work, Valerie enjoys playing soccer, running long distances and skiing in the mountains.
