Anna advises on non-contentious regulatory matters, with a particular focus on financial services, fintech and other regulated businesses operating across the Middle East. Her experience includes advising on regulatory perimeter issues, market entry and licensing requirements, digital asset frameworks, corporate structuring and ongoing compliance matters. She has worked with clients across the financial services, digital assets, fintech, insurance and payments sectors.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Anna was an associate in the Corporate Transactions team at PwC Legal Middle East, where she advised on cross-border M&A transactions, restructurings, JVs and regulatory aspects of transaction structuring. She previously worked within BlackRock's litigation department, supporting securities litigation, regulatory enforcement matters and funds-related legal and regulatory issues across the US, UK and EMEA.

Anna is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. She holds an LLM Legal Practice Course with Distinction from BPP University and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow.

Anna is fluent in English and Hungarian.

Experience

• Advising a digital asset platform on its proposed entry into the UAE market in connection with a tokenised real estate and artwork exchange, including analysis of the VARA and DFSA digital asset regulatory frameworks, regulatory activity classification and compliance-focused structuring.
• Advising a multinational technology group on the structuring of a regional treasury and finance platform, including regulatory perimeter analysis of intra-group lending, cash pooling arrangements and cross-border payment flows under UAE financial services regulations.
• Advising a global insurance and financial services group on a regulatory-driven corporate restructuring, including analysis of regulated activity classifications, cross-border services considerations and licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advising a public infrastructure group on the restructuring of its joint venture operating model, including corporate structuring, intra-group arrangements and implementation of revised revenue and contracting flows.
• Advising a major hospitality group on a multi-entity UAE restructuring, including the separation of business functions across group entities, licensing strategy considerations and the redesign of contracting and revenue arrangements.
• Advising clients across the financial services and fintech sectors on market entry strategies in the UAE, including regulatory perimeter assessments, licence requirements and operating model design.
• Advising clients on the application of UAE digital asset regulatory frameworks, including regulatory classification, licensing considerations and ongoing compliance requirements.
