Jasper joined the London Employment team as an Associate in 2019 having trained at the firm.
As part of his training, he spent 6 months on secondment at the firm's office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania gaining exposure to various contentious and non-contentious commercial issues in sub-Saharan Africa.
His work includes advising employers on the handling of Employment Tribunal litigation, including complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims. He has also advised employers on High Court disputes including breach of contract claims.
He also has experience advising on a range of workplace issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, termination, contractual and policy issues, data protection, IR35 and redundancies.
Advising employers in Employment Tribunal litigation including unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination claims.
Advising employers on the handling of complex grievance and disciplinary exercises and on any resulting termination.
Advising employers on workplace issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, including furlough leave and redundancy.
Preparing and advising on employment contracts and HR policy documentation.
Advising on IR35 obligations and related issues.
Negotiating settlement agreements and COT3s.
Assisting employers with responding to data subject access requests, including advising on the process, coordinating the review and ensuring GDPR compliance.
Advising an international publishing company in High Court pre-action litigation following an employee's breach of contract and breach of restrictive covenants.
