Jonathan (Jon) Ebner advises both US and international corporations on a broad spectrum of commercial disputes. Before joining Clyde & Co, he served as a Partner at a global law firm headquartered in Chicago and spent four years as in-house counsel for an insurance company in Germany, where he collaborated closely with European businesses navigating liability issues in the US market.

Jon's practice centers on supporting multinational clients across diverse commercial matters, including breach of contract, product liability, and insurance-related disputes. His clientele spans leading firms in the manufacturing, real estate, finance, and insurance sectors.

• Represented insurers and reinsurers in AFFF/PFAS-related coverage matters—including disputes and litigation—on behalf of numerous insureds involved in the manufacture, distribution, and sale of PFAS or PFAS-containing products.
• Represented insurers in opioid-related coverage matters—including disputes and litigation—on behalf of numerous pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and retail pharmacy insureds.
• Represented insurers and reinsurers in coverage matters involving a wide range of products, including, for example, Combat Arms Earplugs and vaping products—often in connection with underlying class actions and multidistrict litigation (MDLs).
