Full Profile

Shao Inn qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in 1998 and had a wide-ranging general litigation practice including debt collection, divorce and family work, and local authority prosecutions. She relocated to the UK over 20 years ago and currently has a broad experience of insurance-based claims involving a range of professionals, including coverage and regulatory work. She has also undertaken work for insurers involving costs recovery, enforcement action and rectification of title.

Shao Inn has previously undertaken a successful and interesting secondment with Bar Mutual Indemnity Fund where she dealt with claims against barristers on varied issues ranging from fee disputes, negligence, poor service and misconduct.

She will work hard to secure the most favourable outcome for the client, whether this involves taking a tough but commercial approach to settlement negotiations, creative and unconventional steps to resolve disputes, or seeing a case through to a preliminary issue or full hearing.

Shao Inn has a particular interest in property-based disputes, and in issues involving limitation and contribution.
