Full Profile
Yannik qualified as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) in 2025. He studied law at the University of Freiburg and completed his legal clerkship in the Higher Regional Court district of Karlsruhe. Currently, Yannik is pursuing his doctorate at the Chair of International Economic Law with a focus on East Asia under Prof. Dr. Bu at the University of Freiburg.
Yannik advises international and domestic insurers in a wide range of insurance law, in particular in the fields of D&O, E&O and product liability, regarding claims work. His practice includes acting as monitoring, coverage and defence counsel in complex insurance cases and liability matters. Yannik also acts as counsel in litigation and arbitration proceedings, including insurance, commercial and corporate disputes.

- Providing coverage advice in case of personal injury caused by defective products
- Assessing business interruption claims caused by faulty software updates
- Reviewing managing director’s intent and cardinal duty violations following phishing incidents
