Arkadiusz Krasnodębski has been providing advice on regulatory, contractual, and corporate issues for key players in Poland’s energy sector for over 30 years.

Arkadiusz's client portfolio encompasses major international power groups involved in the privatisation and operation of energy companies. He has offered advisory services on numerous conventional, renewable, and nuclear energy projects, as well as water and waste-related initiatives.

More recently, Arkadiusz has redirected his focus towards M&A and project development transactions, with a particular emphasis on wind farms (including offshore) and photovoltaic farms, along with other projects involving renewable energy sources. He is currently advising energy and gas distributors in proceedings before the Energy Regulatory Office, covering licensing, tariff approvals, and the appointment of Transmission System Operators.

Arkadiusz held the position of Poland's Managing Partner at Dentons’ Warsaw office from 2014 to 2023.
 

Experience
  • Equinor - advising on its acquisitions from Polenergia of a 50% interest in three-Polish offshore wind-farms Polenergia: MFW Bałtyk I, MFW Bałtyk II and MFW Bałtyk III. The projects have a total-planned capacity of-over 2600-MW-and-constitute the largest and-most advanced-offshore wind farm-projects in the-Polish-EEZ of the Baltic Sea. Equinor and Polenergia formed joint ventures to proceed-with the projects.
  • Ocean-Winds - advising on the acquisition of an 100% interest in two Polish-offshore wind farms with-a total planned capacity of 200 MW each. 
  • Enea - advising on the selection of JV-partner for the joint development of an offshore project with a total-planned-capacity-of up to 1400 MW, located in the Polish EEZ of the Baltic Sea.
  • STEAG - advising on the disposal of a portfolio of conventional CHP and heat plants in Poland.
  • PGE - advising on the group's strategy following the enactment of regulation in 2018 freezing electric energy prices to end users.
  • Mansa Investments - advising a majority shareholder on an investment and shareholders agreement with an affiliate of Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. and a tender offer for Polenergia S.A. shares.
  • Enea - advising in connection of Enea's participation in Ostrołęka C investment project of 1000 MW coal fired power plant. Project value: approx. €1,35 billion.
