David Knapp

David Knapp is an associate in the firm's New York office. David focuses his practice on aviation, products liability, insurance and commercial litigation matters.

David has experience defending clients in complex litigation. He has litigated high exposure aviation and product liability claims involving wrongful death, significant personal injury and property damage. David has represented a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, international airlines, product manufacturers, service providers and insurers. He has represented these clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States.

While in law school, David was presented with the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Conflict of Laws and Drafting: Federal Civil Practice. He also served as a director in the Moot Court Honor Society and worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Diccia T. Pineda-Kirwan of the New York State Supreme Court.

Before becoming an attorney, David spent five years as a paralegal with two large law firms and a boutique litigation firm.
