Based in Toronto, Pearlie is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on commercial litigation and insurance disputes, as well as on data protection and privacy law. She has supported clients in matters involving contract disputes, negligence claims, coverage claims, regulatory compliance, data privacy breaches and cross-border issues.
Pearlie holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours in international development with a minor in social entrepreneurship from McGill University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Western University in 2024, where she received multiple academic awards, including the Global and Intercultural Engagement Honour and the Joyce Thomas Memorial Award. Pearlie gained hands-on experience through legal clinics during law school and served in leadership roles with the Black Law Students’ Association—a cause that she takes to heart. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025, after completing her articles at Clyde & Co. Prior to articling, she worked at a leading Canadian bank in legal and regulatory compliance.
With an international bilingual (English and French) upbringing, Pearlie brings a global and inclusive legal perspective to her practice to serve diverse client needs in both domestic and cross-border contexts.
