Autumn Lewis focuses her practice on aviation and aerospace liability, product liability, and warranty litigation. She represents air carriers, airports, and manufacturers of complex commercial, aviation, and military products, as well as their insurers. Her cases have involved significant wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, class action, and property damage claims.
Autumn also brings unusual technical depth to her practice. Before becoming a lawyer, she spent more than eight years as an Aerospace Engineer at Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, working on the F-16 and F-35 fighter jet programs. Because of that experience, she quickly understands complex engineering issues, works well with technical experts, and presents technical evidence clearly and persuasively to courts and juries.
Autumn also has extensive experience representing automotive manufacturers in product liability and warranty litigation. She has prepared many cases for trial and has tried three automotive warranty cases to verdict. Two of those trials ended in complete defense verdicts. Her post-trial work in warranty matters includes drafting a Motion for Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict and a Motion to Vacate.
