Marcus Lee is an Associate in the Energy, Marine and Natural Resources team in our Sydney office, with a focus on contentious shipping, maritime and aviation related matters. He also has particular interest in international trade, commodities and complex cross-border disputes.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co's Sydney office in 2025, Marcus gained experience at another international law firm where he acted for clients from the mining and mining-adjacent industries in relation to regulatory and commercial litigation.

Acting for a classification society in the maritime and energy industries to defend against a misleading or deceptive conduct claim in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Acting for a multinational industrial services company in bringing action for misleading or deceptive conduct in the Federal Court of Australia.
Acting for a private equity firm in Supreme Court of New South Wales proceedings to enforce rights to proceeds under a trade credit insurance policy.
Advising an industrial machinery manufacturer in public investigations for the provision of allegedly defective machinery to a foreign State-owned company.
