Paddy Linighan, a Chartered Accountant by profession, has over 35 years’ experience of operational and financial control, strategy development and managing major business transformation programmes within global law firms.
Since 2020, initially in his role as Chief Operating Officer and latterly from 2023 as Clyde & Co’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, he has led the development of the Firm’s Responsible Business Strategy which has seen their strategic positioning leapfrog from being an approach which was precautionary to one which is ambitious and market leading
In addition to being a member of the ICAEW, he is an alumnus of Oxford Said Business School’s Scenarios Programme and an ISEP Affiliate. He is Co-Chair of the Legal Sustainability Alliance (LSA), sits on the Sustainability Advisory Board member for the Centre for Synchronous Leadership's Agents of Change initiative, and named as a Top 100 Change Leader by We Make Change in 2025.
