Bette Matheny focuses her practices on providing counsel to insurers in first-party and third-party coverage matters. Bette advises insurers on claims involving various insurance coverages, including property, professional liability, automobile liability, commercial general liability, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.
Bette has extensive experience representing national insurance clients in matters involving first-party property and bad-faith claims. As a former prosecutor, and with a background in litigation, she has experience in motion practice, examinations under oath, depositions, expert management, mediation, and trial. Bette has also worked with insurance carriers and claims professionals on evaluating and implementing changes to internal training procedures in accordance with the evolution of various aspects of insurance law.
