Emily is a Senior Associate in the Employment Team in our Manchester office, having been with Clyde & Co since September 2016.
Emily advises clients across the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters, dealing with defending complex Employment Tribunal proceedings including unfair dismissal, equal pay, discrimination and whistleblowing, as well as advising employers on a range of employment issues including TUPE, collective redundancies and internal grievance and disciplinary processes. Emily balances legally sound advice with providing commercially pragmatic solutions. Emily has developed a particular focus on industrial relations and trade union law bringing experience in managing complex workplace disputes, pay negotiations, collective bargaining issues, industrial action and strategic labour relations.
Further, Emily also has significant, extensive experience conducting complex workplace investigations for clients, often involving allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and misconduct. She is regularly instructed to lead sensitive, high-stakes investigations as an independent investigator, ensuring a legally robust and procedurally fair process.
