Renee Mortimer provides clients with clear, confident support on complex general liability issues. Renee helps anticipate risk and resolve claims efficiently, keeping their business priorities front and center. She defends large and excess personal injury and property damage claims in state and federal courts across Indiana and Illinois. She also responds to major trucking accidents, including managing the incident from the scene. She has tried these matters to verdict in both states.
Renee brings more than three decades of insurance defense experience. Before joining Clyde & Co, she was the managing partner of the Northwest Indiana and Indianapolis offices of a national law firm and served as vice chair of its general liability practice. An Indiana native, she began her career in Chicago and returned to the state in 1998, where she continues to practice.
Her clients value her practical approach, her ability to see the full risk picture, and her commitment to helping them move forward with confidence.
