Alexia is a Senior Associate in the Insurance Financial & Professional Disputes team in our London office. She has acted on a range of commercial and professional disputes on behalf of insured professionals. Her practice focuses on the defence of legal professionals and firms of solicitors in professional negligence and malpractice proceedings. She has also defended and advised large law firms on regulatory investigations.
Alexia has also handled negligence actions and wider commercial disputes such as in respect of pension scheme trustees and property professionals. She has worked on High Court civil litigation claims, and resolved disputes via ADR and mediation.
As part of Clyde & Co's Resilience Programme, Alexia is developing thought leadership on the effects of climate change on legal professionals. She has presented to clients and been published in CorporateLiveWire’s Insurance & Risk Management Expert Guide 2020.
Alexia is the current UK Associate Representative on Clyde & Co's Gender Equality Committee, an Ambassador for the Gender Inclusion Network for Insurance, a member of Clyde & Co's Art Committee, and active within the firm's ACED network (for Achieving Cultural and Ethnic Diversity). She has also been elected to represent IFPD in Clyde & Co's Employee Communication and Consultation Group.
