Andrew Pullinger is a dispute resolution Partner based in Clyde & Co’s Perth office. He is a highly experienced and versatile disputes lawyer specialising in complex, high-value and cross-border commercial litigation and international arbitration across a range of sectors.
Andrew has more than 20 years’ experience advising clients on significant commercial disputes in Australia and internationally. Before joining Clyde & Co, he spent a decade practising in the Cayman Islands, where he led some of the jurisdiction’s largest and most complex international disputes. He previously practised in London for more than four years and is admitted in Western Australia, England & Wales, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
Andrew represents clients in complex, high-value disputes, with particular experience in energy and resources, infrastructure, financial services and professional services. His representative matters include leading the successful defence of HSBC in multibillion-dollar litigation arising from the Madoff fraud, defending professional liability claims of more than USD 300 million against a global accountancy firm, representing parties in USD 150 million private equity litigation involving Middle Eastern state entities, and acting in an international arbitration concerning one of the world’s largest infrastructure projects.
Andrew regularly advises on litigation at first instance and appellate levels, and on international arbitrations across multiple seats and under a range of institutional rules. He has been ranked in leading legal directories including Chambers, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal for commerical litigation, international arbitration and asset recovery.
