Sian has significant experience advising the London market and international insurers and reinsurers across a range of business lines. She specialises particularly in political risk, political violence, terrorism, trade credit, structured credit, trade finance, crisis management and also reinsurance issues and disputes.
Sian advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters including coverage, recoveries and policy wordings. Sian has experience of representing commercial and insurer clients in litigation and arbitration (High Court, London Court of International Arbitration and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre) and also in settlement negotiations and mediation. Sian also has experience of investigating complex commodity and trade fraud.
Sian is experienced in providing practical, commercially focussed advice to our clients. She also uses to her extensive experience to deliver training and regularly collaborates with our clients on product development.
