Barbara graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2022. She obtained a master’s degree in Private Law and Liability and Insurance. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the university and after graduation she worked as an academic lecturer for a year.
During her master's degree in Liability and Insurance Barbara wrote a thesis on standardization of non-pecuniary damages.
Barbara has written publications on litigation funding. Her thesis for the master in Private Law was published in ‘Publiek privaatrecht’ and in June 2023 an NTBR article she wrote about that topic was published.
