Karina advises reinsurers and insurers in a wide range of high profile financial lines coverage matters involving underlying claims in jurisdictions including Brazil, England, US, South Africa and the Netherlands.
Karina's expertise includes policy coverage issues in matters involving a combination of civil, employment, tax and criminal proceedings, as well as regulatory investigations into directors and officers, often involving multi-jurisdictional claims and investigations into issues such as bribery and corruption. Her recent experience also includes assisting on professional liability matters in relation to medical malpractice.
In addition, Karina brings a number of years' experience of Brazilian litigation involving civil, commercial and employment law.
