Fernanda has over seven years of experience in international arbitration both in Latin America and in the UK and practices in Spanish and English. She has represented clients on arbitration proceedings governed by the ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID Rules and Uruguayan Chambers of Commerce and has also advised on court proceedings in a variety of foreign jurisdictions. She has acted on behalf of investors in major investment arbitration cases and in commercial proceedings involving mining, oil and gas, renewable energies, aviation, insurance and reinsurance, shipping and corporate disputes. She also has experience on coverage and subrogation claims arising from the insurance market.

Fernanda was also an assistant professor of procedural law at Universidad de la República (Uruguay), has published articles on arbitration and procedural law, participated as speaker on arbitration matters and is a member of legal reviews”.
