Maxwell Russ advises clients on navigating risk across insurance and commercial disputes. Max focuses on directors and officers coverage disputes and financial institution coverage disputes. He also advises on complex commercial litigation and insurance related disputes, with particular experience in reinsurance matters and loss portfolio transfer disputes.
Max joined Clyde & Co in 2024 as a summer associate. He went on to work as a law clerk from September 2025 and is now a member of the firm’s Specialty practice group.
By combining a detailed understanding of coverage issues with a commercial perspective, Max works to identify practical routes through complex disputes and support effective risk navigation.
