Susan Rands is an associate in our Manchester office. She specialises in property damage claims, working on high-value complex losses. She is skilled in the defence of liability claims and the pursuit of subrogated recoveries.
Susan is skilled in dealing with claims caused by the full range of perils, including flood, fire, escape of water and impact. She is also versed in construction failures and contractual disputes.
Her clients include insurers and their insureds, companies and private clients from a range of different sectors.
Susan is also a member of our policy indemnity unit, where she provides policy coverage advice. This advice includes policy wording and interpretation across many lines of business. These include employers’ liability, public liability, contractors all risks, and plant and machinery policies.
