Ahmed has advised on number of corporate transactions working with clients operating in the education, healthcare, infrastructure, real estate and technology sectors.  

Ahmed is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2024.

Prior to joining the firm, Ahmed completed an internship with a leading law firm in Cairo. 

Ahmed is fluent in Arabic and English.

Corporate

  • Advising a US space technology company on regulatory and consumer protection requirements for offering satellite-based telecom services in Oman, including obligations under licensing, tariff approvals, and customer support frameworks.
  • Advising a hallmark of the highest quality and globally accredited university on establishing a Hospitality Management University in Egypt.
  • Advising Hi Fly on its first aircraft sublease transaction in Egypt, involving the dry sublease of an Airbus A330-200 to a national carrier, marking a strategic expansion into new markets.

Litigation

  • Representing a leading pharmaceutical company in a high-value dispute before Egyptian courts concerning commercial paper claims amounting to EUR 13 million.
  • Advising a global leader in airport and logistics systems in a commercial dispute before Egyptian courts, involving claims valued at USD 750,000.
  • Advising a Kuwaiti Egyptian joint stock company in an EGP 50 million dispute before Egyptian courts, alongside corporate advisory on governance matters.

Employment

  • Advising an international organisation on aligning internal HR policies with Egyptian labour law, covering contracts, employee entitlements, termination, and compliance risks.
  • Representing a prominent multinational healthcare company in employment disputes before Egyptian courts, handling claims related to termination, compensation, and workplace obligations.

Infrastructure

  • Advising Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting GmbH (DB E&C) for their plans to revitalise Egypt's national railway transportation sector, and the introduction of PSO and MAI contracts in Egypt.
  • Advising on legal due diligence for several landmark infrastructure development in Egypt, covering licensing, liability structuring, agency roles, and dispute resolution under Civil and Commercial law.

Capital Markets

  • Advising Capital for Securitization and Bedaya Mortgage Finance Co. (Bedaya) on the EGP 843 million securitization issuance for Bedaya, the first tranche of what is expected to be a total of a four-tranche programme with a value of EGP 3 billion.
  • Advising a leading business association on the legal structuring for transferring its microfinance portfolio to a newly established microfinance company owned through a holding structure, including licensing and corporate governance.
