Alison Siniver has over 20 years experience in defending claims against accountants, IFAs, solicitors and insurance brokers.  

Alison is particularly experienced in all claims relating to tax advice and corporate finance and over the past 10 years has advised accountants, solicitors and tax advisors in relation to all manner of tax schemes, reliefs and arrangements from film partnerships and other collective investment schemes to Employee Benefit Trusts and other disguised remuneration schemes.  She has also represented directors on instructions from D & O insurers on claims relating to the extraction of funds from companies into schemes and offshore trusts.   More recently Alison’s team has advised on many Research and Development relief and VAT claims.

Alison also advises insurers on professional indemnity and D&O coverage issues.  

Alison provides specialist updates on new tax avoidance legislation, government consultations and risk management advice to accountants.
