Arfa maintains a broad practice in civil, commercial and insurance litigation. Although she now practises in Alberta, she has appeared before the Divisional Court of Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Arfa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. Upon completing her law degree, she relocated to Toronto and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2022. That same year, she joined the Insurance Legal Department of a major Canadian bank, where she focused on civil litigation and insurance defence matters. After three years in Toronto, Arfa has chosen to return to Alberta and join Clyde & Co’s Calgary office.
Her commitment towards advocacy for her clients began during her time in law school, where she participated in the University of Calgary’s inaugural Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Moreover, she was involved as a student caseworker and trial division caseworker with Student Legal Assistance.
Arfa’s professional experience and personalized approach allow her to be an effective litigator and to offer practical solutions to her clients.
