Charlotte is a solicitor with extensive experience in HR and employment law and is a Knowledge Lawyer in the Employment, Pensions and Immigration team in London.

She supports the employment team, keeping them up to date with the latest legal knowledge and skills. UK employment law is a rapidly changing and developing area, and Charlotte works as part of a team of Knowledge Lawyers ensuring that lawyers are able to keep clients fully informed on workplace risk issues.

Charlotte enjoys analysing the latest legal and regulatory developments; writing articles for publication; designing client training; checking advice against the latest legal changes; and reviewing and revising employment contracts and policies. 

With nearly 8 years as an HR professional in financial services and over a decade of employment law experience, Charlotte always takes a pragmatic approach to the workplace matters that employers face. This includes the full range of employee life-cycle events of hiring, retaining, managing, rewarding and sometimes terminating employees; as well as advising on grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, contractual issues, restrictive covenants, TUPE, discrimination, whistleblowing and other complex employee relations issues.
Charlotte also has considerable experience of handling Employment Tribunal claims, including sensitive discrimination and whistleblowing claims.

Charlotte is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and a network of employment law Professional Support Lawyers.
