Harman is an associate based in the Vancouver office, practising commercial and civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defence and construction disputes.
He first joined Clyde & Co’s Vancouver office in June 2024 as an articling student. During his articles, Harman’s work focused on construction disputes, professional liability and insurance defence. He has since appeared before the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia.
Harman obtained his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Calgary in 2020 and his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2024. During law school, Harman was an avid participant in negotiation and moot competitions. In fact, he took home the top prize in the Dentons 1L negotiation competition, the top prize in the Trial Lawyers Association of BC Deans Moot Cup and successfully took part in the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition in San Diego, California.
With over a decade of experience in construction, residential development and trade contracting, Harman fully understands the nuances of the construction industry. As such, he is able to utilize his knowledge to address client problems effectively and tailor solutions accordingly.
