Nicholas (Nick) Shodrok represents insurers and their policyholders in litigated and non-litigated matters arising out of a variety of insurance policies, including commercial general liability and excess liability policies. Nick’s representation of commercial liability insurers has included serving as coverage counsel in matters involving allegations of property damage and bodily injury. Representation of policyholders has included defending companies against allegations of negligence, premises liability, and products liability.
Additionally, Nick serves as local counsel in other litigated matters pending in federal and state courts throughout Texas.
Through Clyde & Co’s partnership with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, Nick also provides pro bono legal representation and advice to low-income clients.
Nick has also defended residential and commercial property insurers in litigated matters involving allegations of breach of contract and bad faith claims handling.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Nick represented plaintiffs in commercial litigation disputes across the country, including False Claims Act whistleblower litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, corporate fraud litigation, and arbitration.
