Priya Sejpal is an associate with ten years of experience practising property litigation, residential dispute resolution and commercial disputes in the UK.
Priya acts for multinational public companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and high net worth individuals, including celebrities.
Priya advises on residential and commercial possession proceedings, obtaining and resisting orders for sale, commercial forfeiture, and success relief applications.
She has conducted possession proceedings using Sections 8 and 12 of the Housing Act 1988 (HA) and the Rent Act 1977 (RA).
Priya instructs clients on enforcement strategies, charging orders, certified enforcement agent procedures, bankruptcy actions, and unlawful alterations to properties.
Her work includes resolving service charge disputes, council tax issues, boundary disputes, planning disputes, trespass and adverse possession.
Priya won the SME Legal Award in 2019 and was shortlisted for a National Diversity Award.
She is a member of The Law Society (TLS), the Property Litigation Association (PLA), and the Society of Asian Lawyers (SAL).
