Ava Tarka supports clients as part of the Trial & Defense team, where she focuses on insurance coverage and defense with a particular emphasis on appellate monitoring. Ava helps clients understand risk at every stage of litigation, bringing clear analysis and practical insight that supports confident decision making.
Ava joined Clyde & Co after serving as a judicial law clerk for Justice Aurelia Pucinski in the First District of the Illinois Appellate Court. She previously clerked for Judge Eve Reilly in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. This experience gives her a strong understanding of how courts assess complex issues and how to position matters to achieve the best possible outcome.
Ava works closely with clients to anticipate challenges, assess exposure with precision, and shape strategies that keep matters moving in the right direction.
