Rita Tavares is a dual qualified attorney with experience in the insurance, trade & commodities, and marine sectors both in New York and in London. She works with the Specialty and Investigations team in New York on insurance coverage advice and disputes involving, among others, inland marine, fine art, and high value cargo. In addition, Rita also works with the International Trade team in London. She acts in a variety of commodities disputes and transactions, acting for both buyers and sellers in arbitrations and litigations. Rita has also advised clients on disputes related to charter parties, bills of lading and marine insurance contracts.

Rita is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
