Kirsten Wilkerson

Kirsten Wilkerson is a seasoned litigator with over 25 years of experience defending complex, high-stakes tort claims, including product liability, environmental contamination, toxic exposure, mass casualty events, and premises liability. Prior to joining Clyde & Co, she was the Director of and led the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Section within the Department of Justice’s Civil Division, and previously served as Senior Trial Counsel for the Environmental Torts Office.

Throughout her career, Kirsten has successfully developed and executed litigation strategies to defend the United States in a nationwide docket of challenging cases. She is adept at managing large litigation teams and caseloads, ensuring consistent communication with key stakeholders. Her background also includes extensive experience in navigating complex settlement negotiations and utilizing structured settlements.
