GDPR in Healthcare: One Year On

What has been the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the healthcare sector? What are the various issues that the sector has faced in implementing new procedures and ensuring compliance?

Following our highly successful seminars in 2018, Clyde & Co's Healthcare team will be looking at

"GDPR: One Year On"

Aimed at delegates working in the risk and compliance field within the UK healthcare sector, the seminar will consider the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) since it came into force in May 2018.

We will be joined by Peter Turner, Senior Policy Advisor - Engagement (Public Services) of the Information Commissioner's Office who will be looking at how systems can be strengthened to minimise the risk of a data breach and how to mitigate breaches when they occur.

Members of the Clyde & Co healthcare team will then consider how information audits should be conducted and how to manage privacy notices.

We hope you can join us for this update and look forward to seeing you.
