Pierre has contributed to the development of innovative tools within the firm, notably in relation to measuring diversity of origin, working alongside recognised specialists. He joined the firm in 2019 and also teaches data protection law at Paris-Saclay University.
Eugénie Jaussaud, Counsel – Litigation and Insurance
Eugénie Jaussaud is a Paris Bar-qualified lawyer with solid experience in insurance litigation, civil liability, industrial risks and product liability matters, in France and internationally. A Paris Bar-qualified lawyer, Sophie Bayrou specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration. She regularly represents States, public entities and major international groups in complex, high-stakes disputes conducted under the rules of the leading arbitral institutions. Her practice notably covers the energy, infrastructure and energy transition sectors. She also acts before the French courts in arbitration-related proceedings (set-aside and enforcement actions) and advises the firm’s clients on issues relating to international sanctions. Sophie practised for several years internationally, including in Singapore, before joining Clyde & Co, where she actively contributes to the development and profile of the Paris arbitration practice.
“We are delighted to announce these promotions, which reflect our commitment to recognising excellence, dedication and the contribution of our talent to the firm’s growth. Pierre, Eugénie and Sophie fully embody Clyde & Co’s values and the quality of service we provide to our clients in France and internationally,” said David Méheut, Managing Partner of Clyde & Co in France.
