Rose represents insurers and reinsurers in complex international arbitrations and litigated proceedings and has experience in disputes across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Bermuda and Australia. 

She deals with high-value and complex coverage matters (particularly the Bermuda Form) and also has expertise with subrogated recovery claims. She advises and acts for her clients in cases involving catastrophic environmental incidents, product liability claims, property damage, D&O and excess liability claims.

Rose also has wider general commercial experience advising insurers on cyber risks, data protection and privacy issues. She has also spent time in the market on secondment with two different global insurers in claims, advisory and product development roles.

Rose has international experience as a practitioner in the UK and Australia. She was also previously a Consultant in The Hague to an intergovernmental organization on private international law issues and the development of a multilateral instrument on choice of law in international commercial contracts.

• Acting for liability insurers in relation to claims arising from the explosion of an offshore oil drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico
• Acting for insurers on a claim for indemnity relating to personal injury claims arising from the use of a contraceptive
• Acting for a reinsurer in relation to property damage arising from extensive flooding of railway tracks in the Midwest in the USA
• Acting for an insurer in English Court proceedings in relation to the dispute regarding the appointment of an arbitrator
• Acting for various insurers in the London and US markets in relation to a subrogated recovery claim arising from a gas pipeline explosion in Western Australia
• Advising insurers on pursuing a subrogated recovery claim in relation to the catastrophic floods in Queensland, Australia
• Providing wordings advice to insurers on cyber and D&O policies
