Prior to joining, he gained extensive experience as a paralegal at a national firm from 2018 to 2022, handling clinical negligence claims. He subsequently completed his training contract between 2022 and 2024, undertaking seats in Corporate & Commercial, Regulatory, Crime & Professional Conduct, General Litigation, and Inquests & Advisory.

Professional Discipline and Regulation
Samuel handles cases before the General Medical Council (GMC), General Dental Council (GDC), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Optical Council (GOC), and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Notable examples of Samuel’s regulatory work include:
- Successfully representing a dental practitioner accused of failing to treat colleagues with dignity and respect. The allegations included bullying, persistent unwanted contact with a colleague following a breakdown in their professional relationship, and threatening behaviour. Additional allegations involved the use of offensive language and dishonesty. Following Samuel’s representation, the tribunal found no misconduct in relation to the allegations.
- Acting for a dentist facing allegations of sexual misconduct, specifically inappropriate touching of a patient during an examination. The matter did not progress beyond the initial stage of the hearing, resulting in no finding against the practitioner.
Inquests
Samuel represents NHS Trust’s and individual healthcare professionals at Inquest.
Clinical Negligence
Samuel defends NHS Trusts, GPs, private healthcare providers, and other healthcare professionals in clinical negligence claims, including those brought by litigants in person.
Criminal Defence
Samuel assists senior solicitors in complex criminal proceedings, including cases involving gross negligence manslaughter and serious sexual offences. Notably, he was involved in the successful defence of a healthcare professional tried for rape in the Crown Court. The client was acquitted of all charges.
