Sebastián Acevedo is a senior associate in the Corporative & Real Estate group, in our office in Santiago de Chile since 2018.

His work focuses principally on real estate, and corporate areas, construction, and urban planning law, actively advising several clients in the acquisition, development and execution of their transactions and real estate projects. He also provides legal support in high value processes, transactions, and due diligence processes.

He has a Master of Laws degree (c) in Real Estate and Registral Law from Central University of Chile, postgraduate degree in Law and Real Estate Business from the Pontifical Catholic University and postgraduate degree in Urban Planning Law from University of The Andes.

Experience

• Advising Movicenter, the largest automobile mall in Chile, and Indumotora Group, the principal distributor and seller of motor vehicles in Chile, in the negotiation and drafting of lease agreements and other related contracts.
• Support to Inversiones Nueva Korlaet SpA on the sale of 10 supermarkets and 6 commercial stores in the cities of Antofagasta and Calama to Patio Comercial, which is one of the leading actors in the Chilean shopping malls and retail market.
• Supported real estate client in financing operations for approximately US$ 17 million (2019) and US$ 24 million (2021).
