Philip advises clients on debt recovery, secured financial transactions, asset recovery, tax advisory, corporate and compliance issues.
Philip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as well as a Bachelor of Law Degree from Mouncrest University College and subsequently to the Ghana School of Law, where he was called to the Bar.
Philip is a member of Ghana Bar Association and Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana. He is licensed to practice in Ghana.
Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience working in the Banking Industry.
Experience
- Representing some of the nation’s award-winning banks and financial institutions in various debt recovery matters
- Advising a foreign Company on the tax implications of establishing a PPP in Ghana.
- Representing a leading financial institution, which holds the largest market share in mortgage financing in Ghana, in various commercial litigation matters.
- Assisting clients with the drafting and review of commercial agreements to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
