Sophie has advised clients on commercial and investment arbitration matters under a range of institutional rules, including the ICC, LCIA and SIAC, and across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Sophie's experience includes advising sovereign States, private and State-owned entities. She has a strong interest in energy, ESG, and renewables arbitration, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities in the green transition.
She also regularly represents clients before French civil and commercial courts, including in annulment and enforcement proceedings of arbitral awards.
Before joining Clyde & Co, Sophie worked in French and international law firms in litigation and international arbitration. Notably, she spent three years as an associate at a leading international firm in Singapore, advising multinational companies and sovereign States across Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Mongolia, with a particular focus on the construction and energy sectors.
Sophie was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon Assas, a Master’s degree in Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Sciences Po Paris.
She handles arbitration in English and French and speaks Italian
