Full Profile
Shao Inn qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore with a wide-ranging general litigation practice including debt collection, divorce and family work, and local authority prosecutions. She relocated to the UK over 15 years ago and currently has a broad experience of insurance-based claims involving a range of professionals, including solicitors, barristers, surveyors and valuers. Her experience also extends to dealing with policy coverage advice, regulatory and disciplinary matters, and also matters involving costs and debt recovery, and enforcement.
In 2016 and 2017, Shao Inn undertook a successful and interesting secondment where she dealt with notifications and claims against barristers on varied issues ranging from fee disputes, negligence, poor service and misconduct.
Shao Inn will work hard to secure the most favourable outcome for the client, whether this involves taking a tough but commercial approach to settlement negotiations and ADR, creative and unconventional steps to resolve disputes, or seeing a case through to a preliminary issue or full hearing, and to costs recovery and enforcement.
