William has extensive experience of handling complex and high value contentious matters. His practice includes acting for both claimants and defendants across a variety of sectors, including energy, construction and real estate. He also acts for insured professionals in the defence of negligence claims, focusing primarily on claims against solicitors but also including claims against accountants and other professionals. His recent experience includes successfully defending a claim for breach of contract relating to the energy sector, acting for the claimant in a dispute regarding high value residential property, and defending various claims involving solicitors (including finance, corporate and litigation matters). William has experience of arbitration, High Court litigation (including at Appellate level), and various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation. William is a Solicitor Advocate with higher rights of audience, and has undertaken advocacy in the High Court. William joined Clyde & Co in 2014, having first trained and practiced in the litigation team of a leading City law firm.
